During the past 20 years waste disposal has changed dramatically. ARAN group companies have always responded with flexibility to market requirements and changes in legislation, making them able to constantly offer safe and reliable waste disposal to their customers in line with legal requirements. Already at an early stage ARAN invested in recycling technologies which today represent the state of the art in the waste industry. ARAN group companies have developed innovative recycling methods for numerous types of waste. For example, the first stationary soil washing plant in Germany was developed within the ARAN group. The group also designed a procedure for the immobilization of sludge which, after treatment, can be recycled in a manner not harmful to the environment. In the field of plastics recycling, the ARAN group is market leader in Scandinavia in recycling of secondary raw materials.
